The Whitestone Golf Club, is a Semi-Private, 18 hole golf course located in Benbrook, Texas.
The course first opened for play in May 2000. Whitestone was immediately selected as one of Texas' Top 10 New Public Courses. Unique for the Northern Texas area, Whitestone Golf Club is located rolling land.
The greens feature Tif Eagle putting surfaces. Bermuda 419 is used for the tee boxes and fairways.
The course also offers the 'ParView' Global Positioning Satellite (GPS) System.
The course was co-designed by golf architects Jeff Brauer and Jay Morrish. Brauer has designed such well-known Texas courses as the Cowboys Golf Club and Tangleridge Golf Club. Morrish designed Los Colinas Sports Club in Irving and La Cantera Golf Club in San Antonio. He previously teamed with PGA Tour great Tom Weiskoph to create some of the world's most beautiful courses, such as Troon Golf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Whitestone Golf Club has four sets of tees. If you have the game, you can play it from the Gold Tees at 7,117 yards. Other tee choices are 6,615 yards, 6,084 yards, and 5201 yards.

Played White Stone using Avid Golfer coupon - $18.00: great rate! Greens were recently verti-cut, thus they had their faults, tee boxes good shape, fairways and sand traps are worn down. Invest in the sand traps or change them over to grass bunkers. Have aways liked the layout.....few houses on a couple of holes - for the most part a good getaway on the outskirts of the Metroplex. Played in 3 hours - always a PLUS! Need to move out of the double wide (Clubhouse).

Very good course for the money. Hole number 10 is always a challenge, and several holes require decent ball control to prevent ending up in trouble.

Fun layout, challenging par 5s. A little easy on the back. Great on-board GPS, and the weekly deals are great. Overall course conditions are good for this time of year. The bunkers stink, unplayable!!!

There are a number of risk/reward holes. Some holes need target golf skills, while others let you blast away. This is one of my favorite golf courses.

They are finally listening! They have begun changing out some of the sand bunkers for grassed in bunkers. They also recently re painted the fairway markers and tee box yardages. I even noticed with the heat kicking up,the cart girls had wet, cold rags to cool off the golfers. Nice touches!
